Standard DreamTrip Drive a dog sled in the backcountry of Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest — complete with a hot-springs experience — and cozy up in a downtown Jackson hotel near the lively town square. (This DreamTrip is for adults only.) Book by December 12.
About Your Trip
Get ready to mush when you commandeer a team of dogs through breathtaking alpine scenery in Bridger-Teton National Forest. On this adults-only DreamTrip, you'll glide over serene trails to Granite Hot Springs, with only the sounds of musher commands, panting dogs and the whooshing of sled runners. There, you’ll stop for lunch and have time to soak or swim in wonderful soothing waters. The next day is all yours to do whatever you desire. When it's time to unwind, you can soak in the hotel’s outdoor hot tub and enjoy the scenic views and fresh mountain air.
What we love:
Friendly and playful, Alaskan racing sled dogs love to do 2 things — run and pull — and are so powerful that they’ll make your 20-mile (32-kilometer) trek across the wilderness seem like a walk in the dog park!
Everyone gets a turn as a musher, and when you’re not guiding the dogs, you can keep an eye out for deer, elk, moose, bighorn sheep, bald eagles and points of interest.
Known for 3 beloved ski areas, Jackson is a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds. Its bustling town square is also popular for its music venues, iconic bars and laid-back eateries — all just a short walk from your hotel!
